Delmarva Foundation is experienced and established in quality improvement and patient safety. We have served Medicare beneficiaries as the federally-designated Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Maryland and the District of Columbia since 1973. We have been trailblazers in patient safety, co-founding the Maryland Patient Safety Center with the Maryland Hospital Administration and bringing together healthcare and science experts to collaborate on important issues of care. Dedicated and committed to ensuring people with disabilities get high quality person-centered services, Delmarva Foundation provides critical feedback to states regarding the effectiveness of local and statewide service delivery systems. We develop tools and conduct provider reviews to gather information critical to ensuring health and safety needs and regulatory requirements are being met. We also meet face-to-face with consumers to gather information at the source and ensure person-centered and community centric services are in place.
